Thomas Robinson Memorial

VERY THIN SOURCING - would benefit from someone visiting the church to transcribe the memorial in full and identify both brothers by first name. Found via a search of Historic England's own listings for the word 'murdered', within a much longer architectural description of the Grade I listed Church of All Saints itself - the murder is mentioned only in a single passing sentence, with no name given for the poacher responsible, no date beyond the year, and no further narrative. What's known: one brother, Thomas Robinson, was murdered by a poacher; the other brother died the same year, killed by his own gun (presumably a shooting accident). No corroborating source beyond the listing itself was found in a search - there are many unrelated people named Thomas Robinson in 1830s newspaper archives, making this one hard to isolate without visiting the church or county record office directly.
